Sadly DURING THE CURRENT COVID-19 restrictions HOME VISITS WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE.

There are four of us in the Visiting Team, meeting every two or three months to discuss visits from referrals we have received from Robert.

Mainly it involves a phone call to next of kin of the recently deceased, but in the event of no family or nearby support, occasionally a home visit is required, but either way the fact that we make contact is very much appreciated. Usually only one visit is required, and we can always recommend the Meeting Place Coffee Stop for fellowship from others in the same situation.

Each year in November we hold a ‘Living With Loss’ Memorial Service at All Saints Church, to which we invite families of those that have passed away over the past two years, and they can take comfort from lighting a candle and having their loved ones name read out during the service.

We also try to ensure that anyone housebound or now living in a care home receives a visit occasionally, providing fellowship and ongoing contact with our church family.
