Ladies Evenings

For a number of years All Saints Church has hosted Ladies’ Evenings in Poringland Village Hall. The hall is transformed with flowers, balloons, candles and beautifully decorated tables in order to make the ‘old lady’ look as presentable and welcoming as possible!

Upon arrival guests are warmly welcomed with a drink and nibbles, followed by a time for relaxation and perhaps a catch up with an acquaintance. The Village Hall is filled with chat and laughter.

During the evening a guest speaker is invited to tell her story, including her introduction to Jesus and the Christian faith. We have been privileged to learn of many different encounters with the Living Lord and how lives have been changed as a result.
