Hey friends :) We are excited to say that God has blessed us with an amazing house, it is very large and perfect for our family, for hosting members of staff, visiting teams and you when you come to visit :) pictures will follow in our next newsletter We have 2 new team members:
- Charles who is from Blantyre has just finished his Discipleship Training School in Mzuzu and joined us on staff this week. He is being a total blessing helping Suzy prepare the base for arriving teams and will be involved in outreaches in the future
- Brian from USA has joined us here for 3 months. He is helping to develop a system of studying the bible that can be culturally and educationally relevant to pastors living in rural villages. The aim is to equip them to study the bible themselves.
On monday Daniel, Brian and several pastors left to encourage and train pastors who have been struggling in one of the muslim regions here in the south of Malawi. They will be gone from monday to thursday We also have Laura and her team of 5 from the UK arriving on friday to help with several childrens programmes and to encourage children in orphanages locally. The day after they arrive, we will all go to a village together as one group for a few days to encourage the local church, run childrens programs and show the Jesus movie |
 Prayer Requests
1) For Brian as he teaches to have wisdom in how to equip the pastors to explore the bible for themselves
2) 'The light shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot overcome it' pray for the light to shine in the muslim region and for spiritual breakthrough for the team- that God will go before them and prepare the way
3) Historically Daniel has been returning from village outreaches with different health issues which take about a week for him to recover. pray for protection over his health that he will come back healthy and well
4)For protection and fun for Suzy & Benjamin while they stay in Blantyre
5) Daniel has been stung by an insect on his chest and it has left a burn please pray that this heals quickly and is not a distraction from the work they are doing
6) For Laura's team in these last few preparation days before they arrive that they and their families will have peace in coming out and know God's presence as they get ready
7) For Charles in transitioning back to Blantyre
