Drop In 4 Prayer

From July 2009 till November 2010 I had opened All Saints Church on most Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 10pm because as I explained last year, I felt led by God to do so. Since November 2010 to present time I am now opening All Saints from 8pm to 10pm, as my working hours have changed and I now work a late shift on Wednesdays. Although I only have one person regularly joining me for a period of time, I still feel that we should all continue to pray for God’s blessings upon our community. Prayer is not just a shopping list to God but should be a conversation with Him and should be our first action in all decisions and situations that face us. We cannot achieve what God can achieve and he wants to hear from us and help us, because we are His children. Just as we want what is best and want to help our children, so He does for us. The greater the prayer the greater God and the Holy Spirit will work in this area.
When you walk or drive along the roads of our villages then pray for the families that live in the houses, listen to God, He will help you pray what is required. So if coming out on a dark winter’s night, to a cold Church isn’t appealing then, please pray at home or as you travel around the village. All are welcome to come for as long as you want. Come to have a chat, to pray or have a chat with our Lord or to receive prayer.
I would encourage you all to come along and join me to pray for our community, our neighbours.
Mark 12:30-32 states “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.’”
